Carving Pumpkins!!!

TIME TO CARVE!!!!

 We always look forward to carving our pumpkins. I don't know what it is about carving pumpkins...maybe it gets our aggression's out??   

 It is serious business in the Rensink house.  

 This year Jonas made a book of pumpkin carving templates of his own designs. I used one that was suppose to look like my cat, June. But, I am not sure it worked out too well. 

Pumpkin Patch Fun!!

Yesterday we spent the day getting hay for the horses and goats and pumpkins for us.

Hopefully these pumpkins will not become a meal for the goats (see picture at bottom)

These were the pumpkins I grew myself. I WAS excited about carving them. 

But, the goats decided to carve them for me.

Free Falling!!

I just realized this picture loks like she is faling from the ceiling and Kevik is catching her.

 It kind of always freaked me out when Kevik did this with the kids. But they sure did love it. 

This picture reminds me of the summer family trip we took in 2014.

I treasure our family trips so much.

The older the kids get, the more I realize these times are fleeting. 

I try to enjoy every second with no regrets.

Friends Forever....

The other day we had to say goodbye to a family that we have grown to know very well because of the friendship of these two girls. Aleise and Ellie. They play so well together. They love each others company and do not fight. As you can imagine we were sad to hear they were moving to Texas. Aleise and Ellie have decided to be pen pals. They are also going to skype!! That will be cute!

Safe travels Tiemen Family. You will be missed.

I have wanted a Persian cat for a very long time. I still can not believe he is mine.

June likes to sleep in strange positions. But, I don't mind as long as she is next me.

The Kids Are Off To School!!

The kids are off!!

Okay, so it has been a few weeks since they started. Summer seemed to fly by. I always look so forward to summer....and I never look forward to it ending. I enjoy my kids company so much. They are just fun kids. But, this year.....It was a little different. I was ready for another school year. I will have a little time to get things back in order  after a not so IN ORDER summer.  I am so proud of each one of our children.
